Shade Nation is a WA owned and operated family business specialising in premium shade solutions for residential and commercial environments.
The company is led by director Jason, who brings over 25 years of experience in the construction industry across both residential building and commercial projects. Shade installation was originally part of another business, Urban Maintenance WA, before demand for these structures grew significantly. In 2024, Shade Nation was established as a dedicated company focused entirely on shade solutions.
Today the business is run by Jason alongside his wife Kate, with Jason and his father forming the core installation team. As a family business, Shade Nation places a strong emphasis on personal service, clear communication and ensuring every client walks away happy with the final result.
Shade Nation works closely with Cantaport and has been a distributor of their systems since 2022. Through this partnership the team continues to stay up to date with new developments in cantilever shade design and engineering.
Shade Nation provides a range of shade solutions including cantilever structures, umbrellas and custom installations for a wide range of environments. Projects include residential homes, pools and patios as well as schools, sporting facilities and commercial spaces across Western Australia.
